Australian Institute of Architects – SA Awards 2026

At Kennett we get the opportunity to work with many different architects and these two are among our favourites! Together we build great things and so we were so excited to hear that they were awarded Commendations in the recent AIA Awards last weekend.

DesignInc Adelaide for their work on the Summit Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Mt Barker –  a showpiece for the region which appeals to the entire community with multiple pools, gymnasium, creche and cafe.

JPE Design were commended for the Heritage Architecture Award for the iconic Thebarton Theatre redevelopment, where they successfully combined the heritage of the original 1920’s building with modern form and function, allowing us to deliver a project for the City of West Torrens that we can all be proud of.
