The Project
This project involved the construction of an 8 storey building consisting of 70 new affordable apartments, undercroft carpark and associated landscaping. Utilising the Kennett BAMB (Buildings as Material Banks) initiative, the building is targeting a GBCA 5 Star Green Star rating. A tower crane with a static base was utilised for the construction of the building. Challenges included operating within a large precinct with multiple stakeholders and complex traffic considerations for both vehicle and foot traffic.
