Demolition Milestone at Marion Basketball Stadium

This week, Federal Minister Louise Miller-Frost MP, staff from the City of Marion and the South Adelaide Panthers basketball club visited the Marion Basketball Stadium Redevelopment site to witness the demolition of the old stadium. Affectionately known by generations of players, coaches and supporters as ‘The Shed’, the basketball club have salvaged part of the old flooring to be used for plaques and honour boards in the new stadium.

The new stadium will include 4 indoor courts with retractable seating, upper-level spectator seating, kitchen and bar facilities. Car parking will be upgraded to accommodate 1000 spectators for major games.
