Supporting Youth Homelessness for UnitingSA
Construction of new bathrooms for the 24 Hour House in Adelaide.
As part of our ongoing support of the incredible work done in Adelaide by UnitingSA, Kennett has recently completed a pro bono renovation of the four male and female and bathrooms at the 24 Hour House.
This home is part of UnitingSA’s Western Adelaide Homelessness Services and provides respite for young people, aged 15 to 18, who are experiencing homelessness. It’s run by trained youth workers who assist young people with setting and reaching goals, reconnecting with education or employment, and with generally helping get their lives back on track.
The bathrooms were fitted out with hairdryers and other bathroom essentials and the new facilities were greatly appreciated by the Homelessness team and all at UnitingSA.
