Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese visits Prospect Corner construction site in Adelaide

Joined by SA Premier, Peter Malinauskas and a group of Labor State and Federal politicians, the Prime Minister held a press conference to announce a key election housing policy for first time home buyers.

On the 14th April the Kennett team welcomed the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, SA Premier Peter Malinauskas, Federal Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelessness, Clare O’Neil, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia, Penny Wong, Minister for Housing and Urban Development in SA, Nick Champion and Steve Georganas, Federal Member for Adelaide at the Renewal SA social housing project site currently under construction on Churchill Rd., Prospect.

Designed by architects Brown Falconer, Kennett are constructing 2 separate multi-level residential apartment buildings to address the pressing need for social housing in Adelaide. Both buildings are targeting a 5 Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. After speaking with Director, Scott Kennett and General Manager, Anthony Carbone to learn more about the project, the Prime Minister went on to hold a press conference discussing Labor’s housing policy as well as announcing Adelaide as the host city for the COP31 summit on climate change, if Australia’s joint bid together with the Pacific region is successful.
