GBCA Green Star and BAMB Presentation

Dave Colangelo and Nic Howe from our affordable apartments project for UnitingSA on Second St. in Bowden presented an overview of Green Star compliance, tracking and reporting requirements, as well as explaining Kennett’s Buildings as Material Banks (BAMB) strategy. This strategy is being employed for the first time on the Uniting on Second project.

The team from sustainability consultants, dsquared, provided a background on the Green Building Council of Australia’s updated Green Star sustainability rating system and explained how BAMB integrates with circular economy principles for the construction industry.

The audience consisted of subcontractors, representatives from UnitingSA and the University of Adelaide as well as other Kennett teams.
