Award Winning Projects announced at the MBA 2026 Event

The SA construction industry’s night of nights occurred last Friday where 1,500 industry professionals came together at the Master Builders SA Building Excellence Awards gala event to celebrate the projects that have defined the year.

The event recognises outstanding projects, craftsmanship and innovation across the industry and Kennett is thrilled to have won two categories this year;

• Thebarton Theatre  – Commercial Refurbishment/Redevelopment over $10M. Architect – JPE Design Studio.
• Lot 18 Prospect Corner – Affordable & Social Housing. Architect – Brown Falconer.

Project: Lot 18 Prospect Corner “… sets a benchmark for quality, value and project delivery. Despite significant site constraints and complex logistical challenges, the team achieved an exceptional outcome through meticulous planning, coordination and collaboration. High-quality internal and external finishes, proactive safety management and strong relationships with subcontractors contributed to a successful project delivered on time, demonstrating excellence in community-focused housing.”
