Mates SA Visit Gleeson College
General Awareness Training (GAT) delivered to the site team.
The Kennett team at Gleeson College recently hosted Mates to deliver their training which equips all workers on site with the tools to check in, speak up and support each other through tough times. General Awareness Training is a one hour programme aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues and suicide prevention within the construction industry. It introduces workers to the nature of mental health challenges, provides practical guidance on how to recognize signs that a coworker might be at risk, and explains how to connect them with support.
