Improving Aged Care Facilities in the Riverland

Breaking ground to mark the official start of the Aminya Aged Care project in Mannum.

Great to see the Aminya Aged Care project kick off with the official sod turning ceremony. Attending from Kennett are Henry McCarthy, Robert Pongrac and Duncan Forbes-White, along with Peter Raison, Chairman of Aminya and MP’s Adrian Pederick, Member for Hammond and Tony Pasin, Member for Barker.

Aminya, meaning ‘Quiet Place’, is situated on the Murray River in the historical township of Mannum, and provides residential aged care services as well as independent living units. Kennett are building a new 24 room single story extension and undertaking minor refurbishment works. In addition to the new rooms, the extension will also include new common living areas, nurse stations, staff and general utility areas.  External works will include a new carpark and landscaping.
