New Project Announcement – Uniting on Hawker

The start of a project is always an exciting time and kicking off with a sod turning event including a Smoking Ceremony by local Kaurna Elder Uncle Mickey is an absolute highlight.

Kennett have officially started construction on 30 new social and affordable apartments over 2 levels in Bowden for UnitingSA, designed for women aged 55 and over who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

UnitingSA have partnered with the SA Housing Trust and have both State and Federal funding to undertake the project.

Premier Peter Malinauskas, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Nick Champion and Federal Member for Adelaide Steve Gorganas attended the event alongside members of the UnitingSA Board and staff, architects, City Collective and the Kennett team.
