Key Milestone for Limestone Coast Technical College
Education Minister, Blair Boyer and Regional Development Minister, Clare Scriven visit Mt Gambier.
On Tuesday 6th May, the Ministers, together with SA Skills Commissioner, Cameron Baker and the newly appointed Principal of the Technical College, Lynette Corletto, visited the construction site to announce the project on behalf of the Malinauskas Labor government.
The Kennett team hosted the group as they walked through the site viewing the progress to date. The Technical College is due for completion in Dec. 2025 and the intention is for students to attend part time and remain enrolled in their own school. There’ll be accommodation facilities to ensure all students can stay and learn during their training, and courses will be open to students across the whole Limestone Coast region. The technical colleges have been instrumental in establishing relationships with industry, creating a pathway for students to undertake their apprenticeships
