Project Completion – Summit Aquatic Centre, Mt Barker

After sharing the progress on this project over 12+ months, we have now proudly delivered this stunning state of the art indoor aquatic and fitness facility. Practical completion was 6 weeks ahead of schedule for client, the Mount Barker District Council who secured funding assistance from the State and Federal government for this important regional development. The result has been a true testament to what can be achieved through strong collaboration, expert design and a shared vision. A huge thanks to all the consultants and subcontractors who worked together to bring this building to life.

Situated in the rolling hills of the wider Summit precinct in Mt Barker, the facility includes:

• 25 mtr, 10 lane competition lap pool
• learn-to-swim kids pool & splash pad
• warm water therapy pool
• 24/7 gym & fitness rooms
• café, crèche, showers & change rooms
• community spaces, admin areas & landscaped surrounds with a native rain garden for sustainable stormwater management
