The Project
The new gymnasium at Reynella East College, named Wayikuu Gym, is a four court facility providing students with volleyball, netball, basketball and badminton courts. The development included two general learning areas, change rooms, canteen, kitchen and landscaping. The building architecture fits seamlessly into the school environment with prefinished CFC and aluminium cladding, contemporary glass facade and an International Basketball Federation approved sports floor.
What we delivered
- Built to national standards.
- Minimal disruption to students and staff during construction.
- Two thirds through construction, established a budget and programme to deliver additional two classrooms.
- Innovative use of pre-finished perforated MDF and plywood panels internally.
