PM and Premier Revisit Prospect Site

Anthony Albanese and Peter Malinauskas viewed the progress of our affordable social housing projects in Prospect Corner.

Visiting Kennett’s Prospect Corner site yesterday, Premier, Peter Malinauskas showcased South Australia’s accelerated housing solutions to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese under the HAFF (Housing Australia Future Fund). The Prospect site is one of the first nationally to be funded by HAFF which is a national $10 billion investment fund established by the federal government to increase the supply of social and affordable housing to address the housing crisis.

Delivering 29 apartments in 11 months with another 71 apartments to be completed within 12 months, Kennett is working with client, Renewal SA and architect, Brown Falconer to bring these single, two- and three-bedroom affordable social housing apartments to life.

After viewing a completed apartment, they spoke with one of our plumbing subcontractors regarding apprenticeships and the government’s commitment to increase funding to attract and retain people across trades.

These homes will give people a foundation to rebuild their lives, providing much needed stability and a sense of belonging within their respective communities. Kennett are proud to be the trusted partner delivering these important housing projects for South Australia.
