The Project
Kennett was engaged to design and construct an additional building to Roomia’s existing Chirnside Park facility. With 4,700sqm of lettable unit space over both levels, the building was constructed with a structural steel frame, metal clad roofing and a combination of precast and metal clad walls. It features a lightweight structural steel framed mezzanine with 22mm thick STRUCTAflor board flooring.
What we delivered
- demolishing an existing aged building back to slab level
- modifying the slab to current standards
- building a new 2 level building
- construction of an adjacent freestanding 8-unit single-level building
