The Project
Awarded the best and most relevant piece of public space architecture in 2005 by the Royal Institute of Architects, this beautiful contemporary lift provides much needed access to the North Terrace campus.
What we delivered
- The interaction of the steel and the glazing required a tolerance of less than 3mm over the project – every pane of glass was templated in plywood before manufacture to ensure perfection.
- The building was completed on time, with no re-work or visible defects.
- The Adelaide University Disabled Access Lift is an example of our contemporary work. The lift not only won many Architectural Awards in the contemporary categories, it was highly praised by the building industry for exceptional execution of a great design.
