The Project
The expansion of the Kalyra Aged Care facility included refurbishing four occupied buildings and extensive demolition and rebuilding of 80% of the original site. The new build and refurbishment works surrounded an occupied nursing home with minimal disruption to residents and staff. Extensive undercover walkways were temporarily constructed to maintain the 24/7 operations of foot traffic flow of nursing care and meals.
