The Project
Construction of Stage 1 of Driscoll’s national facility for genetics and berry production root stock involved the construction of three single level buildings and extensive services infrastructure work.
What we delivered
- 1,200sqm laboratory
- 400sqm administration building
- 650sqm field office and utilities shed
- The building design incorporated a concrete slab on ground, steel portal frames, timber roof trusses and wall framing, laboratory equipment and joinery, vinyl floor coverings and burnished concrete floors.
- All three buildings and all associated infrastructure were built concurrently, with the intent of fast-tracking the project.
- Project delivery was 7 weeks earlier than the contract period.
