The Project
Renowned as a concert and performance venue, Elder Hall is the primary performance space of the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Kennett was entrusted with undertaking a mechanical services upgrade along with associated structural works to this iconic heritage building which accommodates 650 people for the lunchtime concert series as well as evening events. The project had a tight timeframe and was staged to allow for a high-profile public event. Works included the replacement of existing air handling units to Elder Hall, minor structural and services rectifications and the replacement of floor coverings in the entry foyer.
