The Project
Australian Grain Technologies (AGT) have grown significantly with their research and development and grain technology. They required a facility to help them to become the industry leader, and to meet their demands and future growth needs. This project is now the most technically advanced building in the agricultural space.
What we delivered
- Construction of new offices, laboratories, glass house, machine shed, chemical storage areas and a landscaped water retention area.
- Construction details included structural steel frame, perforated steel façade, rolled onsite metallic architectural cladding system, BC2 compliant facilities, cool rooms and a total building area of over 9000m2.
- Some challenges included highly reactive soil conditions, BC2 compliance requirements and carefully constructing the bespoke glasshouse design.
- The end product was high-quality and produced within budget.
